Like so many people, Jade found yoga when looking for a solution to her chronic injuries from high-impact exercise, and discovered something so much greater. With a background in aerobics and dance, Jade has a wide variety of certifications in Zumba, Pilates, barre, Fitness Instruction and of course, yoga. This wide range of experience and over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, has led Jade to teach a balanced yoga class that is accessible and challenging to students of all levels. Her passion creating business savvy teachers who lead in the no judgement, no competition spirit that she cultivates at her studio.

Jackie started taking yoga classes after a car accident left her with an injury. She was seeking a movement-based practice but quickly experienced the greater offerings of yoga. Since then, she has dedicated her time to learning about the practice of yoga and sharing it with others. Jackie has studied with many wonderful teachers on a wide variety of topics and continues to learn and grow throughout her career. She is passionate about guiding people through different ways they can explore their practice.

In addition to teaching anatomy, pranayama, and meditation, Jackie specializes in prenatal yoga, asana consultation, and advanced asana practice.

She is a mother, singer, songwriter, poet, writer, thinker, activist and yoga & wellness professional
She is an Ethiopian-Canadian who was born in Amman, Jordan, grew up in the projects of Regent Park and Scarborough, A mother of a teen boy, a yoga &
meditation teacher, a Lululemon Ambassador, a Holistic Life Coach, Reiki Master, singer, songwriter, poet and Antiracism educator. Her love for yoga is infectious and is rooted in radical self acceptance, deep love, self-examination, present moment awareness and seeing people as they are with radical compassion.


Selam is most passionate about advocating for the rights of Black, Indigenous and racialized people with importance in educating our communities on racial justice, social justice and equity.

Dr. Elizabeth Lecock Voice Coach

Voice Coach

Elizabeth Lepock holds a Master of Music, Literature and Performance, and a Doctor of Music Arts in Voice Performance from University of Western Ontario. Over the course of her doctoral studies, in addition to honing her performance and pedagogy skills, Elizabeth also pursued groundbreaking interdisciplinary research into muscle tension voice disorders.

 

Elizabeth's love of music includes a continuous desire to learn, a passion for performing, and a nurturing but also stimulating approach to teaching. Her varied teaching experience include more than 15 years of private voice and piano teacher, six years on faculty at Ontario Mennonite Music Camp, Conrad Grebel University College, and varied teaching assistant positions at the masters and doctoral level. Elizabeth has also served as a board member of Waterloo Region National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Chapter (Student NATS), and as a clinician in local masterclasses and competitions. Now a full NATS member, she continues to maintain a large studio of voice and piano students, many of whom have achieved first class honours in exams and received acclaim at music festivals and competitions.

 

Elizabeth enjoys performing in opera, oratorio, and recital – particularly innovative/interdisciplinary projects – and has a real enjoyment of poetry and foreign languages. An aspiring pianist from age two, Elizabeth now mainly plays piano when accompanying her students, but still particularly adores the solo piano music of Claude Debussy.

Swami Haripriya is the disciple of the great Yogi H.H. Brahmrishi Shri Vishwatma Bawra Ji Maharaj, founder of the International Brahmarishi Mission. Under His tutelage, in India, she studied Sanskrit and received profound knowledge of Vedic scriptures, Ashtanga Yoga Practice & Philosophy. She has performed various spiritual practices under His guidance toward a Divine way of life. She is a preacher at Brahmarishi Mission of Canada, Kitchener. She is serving the community here since 2001 without any discrimination of caste, creed, color, country, or faith. She lives by the motto of Brahmarishi Mission “Wisdom Love Service”. Her love for humanity drives her to serve everyone who seeks her help. She is a scholar in the Sanskrit language and a professional Yoga teacher. She teaches Yoga, Sanskrit, and delivers discourses on Vedic Literature and Yoga Philosophy at various places including Universities in Canada, India, and Europe. She has more than two decades of experience in teaching Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation. She organizes and conducts Yoga Camps and Philosophy Courses for children, youth, and adults internationally.
